The South Launceston Junior Football Club has had another outstanding season which will culminate in 3 teams playing off in this years NTJFA Grand Finals. The Grand Finals will be played this Sunday the 29th August at Aurora Stadium. The Under 14's will play North Launceston at 12:45pm, the Under 15's will play Prospect Sharks at 2:45pm and then the Under 16's will play Launceston at 5:10pm. We wish all three teams the best of luck on Sunday. 

Congratulations to our Under 14's and Under 15's who both come away with premierships from Sunday's Grand Finals. The Under 14's defeated North Launceston 8.6.54 to 5.5.35 after leading at half time by only 6 points. A strong second half set up the win led by Timothy Jones who was also awarded the best on ground. Goal kickers for the dogs were M. Collins 2, J. Taylor, L Crawford, D Mackrill, L Ritchie & T. Jones 1. In the Under 15's the boys went in as underdogs and after a slow start turned in a stellar performance over the next 3 quarters to run away 36 point victors over the Prospect Sharks 12.13.85 to 7.7.49. Goal kickers included D. Visser 4, B. Etchell, S. Goldfinch 2, S. Legro, D. Johnston, R. Davis, T Vinar 1. Best on ground was awarded to Dylan Visser. In the Under 16's unfortunatley Launceston proved too strong running out winners 14.10.94 to 7.6.48. The boys fought it out to the end and whilst disappointed not to win they can be well pleased for an outstanding season. Congratulations to all involved.
