Aaron Viney 150 Games
This Saturday against Clarence at Bellerive Aaron Viney will celebrate his 150th senior game for the South Launceston Football Club and in the process become the youngest player to receive Life Membership at the Club. Debuting back in 2001 Azza has developed into one of the states most admired players with the way he plays the game and the dedication he has shown the South Launceston Football Club over a long period of time. Azza's journey with South Launceston started way back in under 11's and as he made his way through the junior ranks it became evident that not only would Azza be a senior player one day but he would also be one of the club's leaders. This happened in 2006 when he took over the captaincy of the club and today he will run out as captain for the 86th time which is the most by any player in the club's history. At only 27 Azza has already won two club best & fairests in 2007 & 2010, but his one desire is to see the club he has grown up giving his heart and soul to be successful.
